My Latest Commission

Requested by my friend Mark as an anniversary gift for his girlfriend. Debre Libanos (Eritrea) a monastery in Ethipia is a place that means a lot to her. I only had a low res picture to go on so I did question whether to take this project on. Gave it a go and finished it within the day - went ok. Client was happy so that is the main thing! X

Honest Blog - Living with M.E

To follow on from my health features on the Huffington Post I have started to vlog about my various ailments. I am hoping it will encourage others to share and in turn find comfort in knowing that others are facing the same issues. If you too suffer from ME, please do get in touch, perhaps we can compare notes and discover things which improve our situations.

My Interview with Lewis Watson at Redfest

My final interviewee of the day was Lewis Watson, a talented young musician who was a complete pleasure to talk to in the sweltering heat. Full of humble excitement, he enthused about his career since being disovered on YouTube. We discussed that changed that being signed brings to an artist, how his loved ones have responded to his life on the road, touring with fellow YouTube-r Birdy.....and his new role on the big screen!!

My Interview with Lost Alone at Redfest

I was slightly unsure about interviewing Lost Alone, considering that our last chat ended up being one of my favourite interviews of all time - I almost didn't want to risk tainting our record.
Thankfully Steve and Alan provided ample in terms of randomly amusing soundbites. I swear I could chat to them in tangents for hours. During this half hour we managed to touch upon chocolate induced sweating, foot phobias, Clarks shoes, whilst trying to avoid the wrath of a nosey wasp. Oh, and how could I forget....Sex leads.  ENJOY!

My Interview with The Lafontaines

These guys were responsible for me realising that I hang out with boys too much and I may need to work on filtering what I say a bit more.....I have gotten a bit too comfortable with being a gross lad!
We spoke about angering Daniel Craig, questionable fashion choices and music so good it makes you break the law!

I chat to the brothers about van life, touring with Jake Bugg, the joy of busking, and manage to find out some surprise talents in the process....

REDFEST ANNOUNCES FINAL ACT FOR 2014

Oxfordshire singer songwriter Lewis Watson is the final main stage announcement for 2014. The talented youngster has been making music since 2010 after receiving a guitar for his 16th birthday, and released his first EP in 2012 after being picked up by Warner Records. He toured Australia in 2013 supporting Birdy and released his 4th EP 'Four More Songs' in July 2013. His debut album 'The Morning' is due for release on the 7th July on Warner, and the future is indeed looking extremely bright for the lad.

The Sunday Times recently quoted: 'He has such a sense of melody, such a knack with a shimmering chorus, that somebody at Warners must be thinking: 'if we put this lad in a studio with Eno, could we be looking at a Coldplay-sized juggernaut?''

His brand new video for 'Stay' can be seen over at his website: http://lewiswatsonmusic.com/videos/

Since 2007 Redfest has been welcoming festival goers from across the UK and Europe with open arms, and championing some of the best up and coming UK music talent. Now in its 8th year Redfest returns in 2014 with what is hoped will be our finest venture yet. Being such a compact event you feel like you are getting a really intimate musical experience from the bands and the atmosphere is one of the nicest of the festival calender. I've been going for the last few years and whatever the weather it is a reliably awesome time. Let me know if you are going it would be great to meet up!!

BOHO - TUTORIAL AND LOOKBOOK

I know, I know boho is old news, but I still look at pictures of Sienna Miller and pine for the ability to team vintage and contemporary pieces in such an effortless but feminine way. I truly believe you shouold wear what you like or feel right in as opposed to what is 'on trend' so I thought this was a good theme for my first tutorial and look-book on YouTube....Let me know what you think!! xxx PEACE
