GRWM - SIXTIES DOLL

Last week I was lucky enough to attend the premiere of Collateral Beauty, a new drama starring Will Smith, Helen Mirren, Kate Winslet, Keira Knightley and Edward Norton. It gave me glam reason to go in on my latest beauty purchase, the MORPHE x KATHLEEN LIGHTS eyeshadow palette.

Watch the video below to GET READY WITH ME and also see a glimpse into what happened on the red carpet.

Products Used
 Illamasqua Hydra Veil
Illamasqua Skin Base
Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer
Laura Mericer Transluscent Powder
Collection's Contour Stick (medium)
Collection Define and Perfect Eyebrow Powder
Benefit's Gimme Brow
New ID Blush trio
Max Factor False Lash Epic
Becca Champagne Pop Highlighter
Primark Velvet Matte Lipstick Crayon

I feel like everybody is going for a red lip to be inkeeping with the Christmassy aesthetic, but I fancied going for a more sixties inspired, with doll-like eye and a pale lip. I was going for a quite a different look all round for this particular outing on the red carpet, dare I say, attempting a bit of sexy suiting on the sartorial front. I always feel a bit more confident and kittenish when I put the emphasis on the eyes and got for a soft pillowy lip.

For my eyes I used 4 shades from this 15 piece curated shadow collection. I used the two matte plum shades in the creases, the glittery rose gold packed heavily on the lid, with the frosty white used to brighten and widen the eye once placed on the inner corner.

I'm thinking of doing an in depth review of this palette for my channel, as the shades are a bit hit and miss on first inspection. Let me know if this is something you'd be interested in!

This photo demonstrates that I've not quite nailed how to glue on lashes...hence why they were removed about 5 minutes after filming. I tried at least....

Let me know what you think of this look?

DARKNESSTIVAL GALLERY

This saturday I was at the Indigo o2 to help with the running of Darknesstival - a fan convention put on for the dedicated and loyal fans of The Darkness. Sadly I didn't get any pictures of the wonderful costume displays, photography exhibitions, or any of the other fantastic activities put on within the venue on the day. However I did manage to get some snaps from the band's live performance at the end of the day. I hope you like them!

If you wish to use any of them please feel free to pop me an email on sophie.eggleton@googlemail.com

Just wanted to say what a pleasure it was to speak to some of the Darkness fans during the day. Wish I could have spoken to more, hopefully we'll get another opportunity!

OUTFIT POST: COLLATERAL BEAUTY

Last night was the final premiere of what has been a movie packed year for me. We would once again we swishing (hobbling more like) down a red carpet in Leicester Square, attempting to get some good vlog footage of celebrities and actors, while security guards attempted to hurry us into the cinema.

PIXIWOO: HOLLYWOOD ICONS LAUNCH PARTY

A couple of weeks ago I was honoured to be invited to Pixiwoo's launch party in celebration of the release of their Hollywood Icons DVD and Five years of Real Techniques. I felt a little bit unworthy of attending such an event considering the level (subscriber wise) of my YouTube channel - so much so I thought I may have to restrain myself from bowing at the hosts, and many of their guests feet, Waynes World style. That said, what I've always liked about the sisters is that they seem incredibly down to earth and approachable, so I was sure they would do what comes naturally and make sure all those joining them in celebrating, felt equally as welcome, and not as though they'd been invited by accident.

OUTFIT POST: STEALING MUMS COAT FOR THE DAY

A little while ago you may remember another member of the Eggleton clan wearing this stunning monochrome coat. Just to jog your memories....The lovely ladies at Jacques Vert sent me this fabulous winter classic to style-up, but when it arrived my mum eyes widened - to use on biblical language she was 'coveting'. I encouraged her to try it on and it looked fabulous on her, so I happily agreed that she could take hostage of it for the majority of the season. I actually ended up using my mum as the model in that week's outfit post - a role she took too extremely well despite her faux protestations - boy did she 'work it'.
