My Interview with Kat Von D

American tattoo artist, model and star of hit US reality show, LA Ink, Kat Von D was in London to launch her new clothing and footwear range and I was lucky enough to grab her for a quick natter about it.

Widely respected as one of the world’s most prestigious tattoo artist, Kat has tattooed a range of A-listers including Lady Gaga, Ewan McGregor, Dave Grohl, Jared Leto, Eve, Denise Richards, leaving them all with her artistic stamp forever. Kat has gained a Guinness World Record of most tattoos given by a single person in 24 hours, with a total of 400. Her creativity and renowned artistic flare has left her with a huge client waiting list to get an appointment.  

In the past she has appeared on several high profile TV shows in the US including Ellen Degeneres, David Letterman and Lopez Tonight. She has an incredible 700,000 followers on Instagram, over 3 million likes on Facebook and just under a million followers on twitter. She recently posted pictures of her new shoe line and got over 200,000 likes!
